Regular reader’s will know of my youngest sons’ preference for legging it down the road every morning on the way to school. He’s currently forsaken walking in favour of running most places at the moment. It can be surprisingly hard work keeping up with him when I’m also with the pushchair. An empty pushchair has a life of it’s own it seems.
My eldest’s solution to the problem has me smiling from ear to ear. She runs along ahead of her little brother and stands waiting for him with her arms held out. He runs into her arms for a hug. Makes my heart swell with happiness. And gives me a brief breather!
